yesterday afternoon the following conversation took place between myself and my student esther:
e: miss kelly, did you paint your hair?
k: no. sometimes it just gets lighter in the sun. does it look lighter or darker?
e: it looks beautiful
k: oh! wow! thank you. um. uh... thanks.
