dear october

Dear October,
You are a perfect excuse to wear double orange stripes. This is about as Halloween-y as I go. Things have been so busy lately that for over 36 hours our guest bed looked like this: 

I busted out my winter hat for ya, October, ol' buddy. Chilly days are awesome.

It was perfect weather for Joel to run an alumni race at his school yesterday. Thanks for the sun, October.

And for opportunities to do fun stuff with friends... like hiking with our BFF couple. At the site of their engagement! 

 The sun was so bright we were squinting. Wearing T-shirts. In October.

October, I love you. I love my husband and Melissa/Joel. I love being outside in the gorgeous air and seeing the beauty of our area.
