i love lots of things about life lately. warm spring weather. the sun shining brightly. my students. getting to play with the cutie kids. making an "apple dapple cake" that turned out amazing. preparing for summer program when i work with kids full time!!! talking to my best friend before we go to sleep. getting ready for grandparents' weekend [VA and NC!] starting tomorrow!!!!! seeing 2 fab friends NEXT weekend!
there are also a couple things i don't love. my student telling me a story about some self-righteous punk in the grocery store saying "this is america. we speak english, not spanish." ick. makes my blood boil. waking up wicked tired and knowing i have a 12 hour day ahead before i can come home.
