yikes- i'm dying here without my co-worker. i have nobody to talk to so i just keep thinking of things i want to blog about.
1. i just started reading "the tale of despereaux" bc we're going to read it with our students this fall. so absolutely darling!
2. i just spent way too much time looking at my japan blog/photo blog. holy smokes it is so beautiful there!! i used to make lists of what i missed about america. nowadays i make lists of what i miss about himi.
3. it's awesome to be home after 11 days of vacation. i adore my house and my philly family so much. i also adore having my things organized, having great water pressure in the shower, and sleeping under my down comforter. with my fan.
4. did you notice my blog has been changing layouts/colors a lot lately? sometimes i do things like this. randomly. i think it's related to some subconscious weirdness, but i'm not sure...
5. on a whim, i just bought the book "naked mole rat gets dressed" [$4.50 on amazon!!] i read it a few months ago and nearly died- it's SO cute.
6. i'm FINALLY getting started on my PA certification. [i know i said that months ago!] as part of the requirements for transferring from NY, i have to take a college level math class starting in two weeks. don't get me wrong-- it's super basic. but still. college level. for the first time in 6 years. it's gonna be really fun, i can tell ya right now.
7. ash & jon are coming tomorrow~ wahoooooo.
