lauren was here for labor day and we had sooooo much fun. so much fun, in fact, that we didn't take a single photo. what a crying shame~
weekend highlights include:
a perfect day at the beach- sunny, warm, awesome ocean; seeing my friend jordan; AND running into two of my students. most people i've told about this haven't been nearly excited enough for my liking... i think it's SO insane that i saw my students at the beach!!! it's 1.5 hours away and there are a trillion people who go there. anyway, i loved it so very much.
visiting laur's old church and having lunch with some of her awesome old friends. outlet shopping and finding great deals on new fall-weather work clothes. meeting laur's cousin and his wife and playing catchphrase with their friends.
talking, laughing, eating, talking more, laughing more, etc. etc. with lauren. she's such a wonderful friend! i ADORE her sense of humor, her fresh perspective, and her genuine heart. we talked a lot about our time together when she visited me in japan & we looked at pics from that week:
