long lost quote

i can't believe i forgot to blog about this. when i got my new car a couple weeks ago, i was telling my students how excited i was to drive something better than my old rust bucket. one of them goes:

"miss kelly, maybe now you want to get a boyfriend. because you couldn't get one with that old car. it was too ugly~"

what do you think i said in response?!?

well, after i died laughing, i mumbled something like:
"yeah, araceli. i'm sure that's been my problem this whole time..."
