ML said we might have to turn on the air conditioner tonight b/c it's getting so warm. i know the heat wave won't last, so i'm happy to have it for the weekend. even simple things like cleaning the bathroom and doing exercise is more pleasant when it's awesome outside~
meliss and i walked in pennypack, our local park, this weekend. i'm taking mom there this afternoon. speaking of mom, she's coming any minute now to stay for the day on her way south. HOORAY!!!
this weather makes me wicked nostalgic for last spring in japan. i adored it. i wish i was there right now. except for the fact that mom couldn't just visit me for the day if i was there...
this morning i got a response to my craigslist ad about tutoring. it's for a 5th grade boy who needs help in math. i didn't really expect to get any response, so now i'm nervous that i'm not competent for the job!
