tonight my friend julie asked me to watch her three kids for a couple hours. after the younger two went to bed, the oldest and i stayed up to watch "wheel of fortune". we had a couple good chats.
after i guessed a phrase correctly:
"wow~! you're right! you should go on the show!!"
a: "oh yeah, saint luca"
me: "actually, it's saint lucia."
a: "no, it has a C. it's saint luca"
me: "okay..."
[2 minutes later, after the host said the place name again...]
a: "oh yeah. saint lucia"
when his parents got home, his dad told me another funny one. they always advertise eggland's best eggs on wheel of fortune. sometimes when they go to the grocery store:
a: "dad, are we gonna get eggland's best eggs?"
"no, bud."
"oh yeah. we don't need them."
[he's so hilarious!!]
