i decided on this speedy approach to blog updating:
some of the best things this week:
making a "summer list" with my friends. having most of monday to spend with meliss!! $10 pedicures @ the beauty school. finishing GED class!! going to the YMCA three times. sunny days. darling kids. cutie texts from my bf. seeing mom and dad tomorrow. lauren coming on friday. flowers blooming all around. 8 of my students moved up a level on their post-tests! knowing that i'm gonna eat Qdoba for dinner tonight.
worst things: not seeing j since sunday [i know, i know, it hasn't been that long]. getting rejected by a charter school. 3.hour.math.classes.ugh. my wrist hurts b/c i did a handstand on sunday and i haven't recovered. my cell phone is dying but it needs to last until july. psyching myself up to tell my students i'm leaving. realizing that the summer is already filling up & i won't be able to do everything on the list.
[doesn't my job look fun? if it involved more children, i wouldn't be leaving]
